Monosist has been engaged as a station design consultant to AEIB Dubai and works closely with Obayashi Ltd of Japan in Design & Built contracts with the project developer, Nakheel.

The 5.4 km monorail line is located on the Palm Jumeirah connecting the mainland to the developments within the man-made island. The project consists of 4 stations and a maintenance depot located on the podium of high-rise structures. The fully enclosed central platform stations are designed to deal with extreme weather conditions. The platform is naturally lit over a full-length skylight roof system to allow an optimum natural lighting ambiance.
