Mumbai Monorail Line stretches  19 km long running through a densely populated over a complex urban geometry. Monosist was part of a consortium led by PJSI Consultant KL, responsible for providing preliminary concept design and planning of the stations and depot building.

Leveraging our experience on the Kuala Lumpur Monorail System with similar urban design challenges, Monosist designed a standard 64-meter-long station typology along the alignment across Mumbai's busiest route.  A central column supporting station structure is adopted to avoid tampering with massive underground utilities normally laid on both sides of the roads throughout the whole alignment.
