The KL Monorail Extension Project connecting Kuala Lumpur and Subang area via Old Klang Road is proposed to bridge the missing link for better connectivity in KL Transport network Masterplan.  

The proposed line extension covers an alignment of approximately 14km to the west of Kuala Lumpur with 14 numbers of stations starting from the Brickfields area heading towards Sunway commercial area via Jalan Kelang Lama, Kg. Medan area,  and ends at Sunway Township.

The proposal will provide a new connectivity aims to increase mobility for the people along the proposed corridor to the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan via existing KL Monorail line.
