Zulhilmi begins architectural study in the Faculty of Built Environment Universiti Teknologi Malaysia before further his study in Bachelor of Interior Design at the School of Interior Design Institut Teknologi MARA Malaysia. He then ventured into an academic fraternity for a full time teaching at   LimKokWing University of Creative Technology (LUCT) in Kuala Lumpur and Kuching, Sarawak.  After a long service with LUCT, he then started his own practice providing his expertise in design and consultancy services of interior works. He is now engaged as Associate for Monosist Interior Design division in-charge of numerous interior design works alongside with company’s major projects undertaking.
